This little baby hat is so darn cute!  It is very similar to the pumpkin hat to make.  The only difference is that you’ll want to cast on twice as many stitches.  Then, the first row you knit 2 together all the way around.

I used some leftover Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece for this project.  The cotton isn’t as forgiving as a wool or acrylic blend, but it makes for a great lightweight hat.  The cotton fleece washes up really nicely and becomes super soft.
