Last month a new niece was born into my family. She was born at 24 weeks. Things are looking good for Baby Zoe. She still has a long road ahead of her but when she’s ready to leave the hospital, I want her to have a cute little jacket to wear!
I made this jacket from the pattern, Paxton (ravelry link). I made the 5.5lb-8lb. preemie/small newborn size. I used some yarn from my stash (Yarn Bee from Hobby Lobby) and knit this up over a few evenings. It was a relatively easy knit. No seaming. Plus, since it is so small it uses up very little yarn.

My daughter has been trying to steal it and put it on her dolls. Since this was such a quick and easy knit, I think maybe I’ll make her one or two of her own to use for her dolls.

That is adorable, I just looked at that pattern the other day. I have a large extended family and all the cousins are currently getting married and having babies, I might have to give this one.
Have you tried Saartje’s Booties? (http://members.home.nl/tdpj/Patronen/Bootees/Saartjes%20bootees.pdf) they look cute.

Many, many thanks.
Just yesterday, mother said she was looking for a baby’s sweater pattern.
