I absolutely love this knit! It is a free pattern from Knitty called Rooibos. It only took me two weeks of light knitting (not every day) to finish. If I knit on it every day, it probably would have only taken a week or less. It helps that it is mostly done in stockinette using bulky yarn.

Speaking of yarn, I used Ironstone Super Alpaca.

I made it in size 1X.

I really like the ribbing detail on the back and the pockets on the front. I know I will get a lot of wear out of this in the months to come.

Note to self: Wear better undergarments when it’s knitwear photo day. Ugh!
