Today’s post is brought to you by my intern, KraftyKash! Every once in a while I con her into writing posts for me. Several weeks ago I gave her some amazing Canvas Corp products to work with to see what she came up with. Here you have it! Enjoy!

Working with these Canvas Corp tags was a lot of fun. I like the fact that they are a blank canvas, just waiting for you to create.

The design and products that you use are all up to your imagination.

This was a fun and easy project.

My supplies included fabric, mod podge, black paper, & my cricut machine.
I measured the fabric to fit on the canvas tag and then glued it down using mod podge.

While this was drying I cut out the letters in the word family using my cricut machine.

Next I put each letter on top of the fabric/canvas tag.

I covered the letter with Mod Podge and left to dry overnight.

I tied several pieces of black fabric together and clipped on the canvas tags using the tiny clothes pins from Canvas Corp.

I love the way the project turned out.

I would recommend these canvas tags to anyone that enjoys crafting.

These products were provided to me (Christy) to try out. I was not paid for this review.

Today’s post is brought to you by my intern, KraftyKash! Every once in a while I con her into writing posts for me. Enjoy! You can find her other posts in the Intern Krafty Kash section.

I enjoyed scrapbooking when my kids were younger. Both of my kids have their own scrapbook that I created. It takes a lot of time and energy to do it all just right.

So when Christy asked me to try out the Digital Scrapbook Artist 2, I was up for the challenge. I’m a fan of anything that makes my life a little easier.

The download and instructions were easy to follow.

I decided to try out adding one of my images into a pre-made scrapbook page.

I used the Painted Backyard kit that comes with the program.

I did add in a few embellishments.

This is what I came up with:

Next up I designed my own page from a blank canvas.

I used the Summer Fun kit that I downloaded from Daisy Trails.

This kit has a lot of great choices to add to your page.

Here are a few things I didn’t like about the program:

You would have to use alot of printer ink, if you were printing out each page.

You only have a few kits to work with. There are about 15 that you can download for free & others that you can purchase.

In my opinion, the cutest kits are the ones you have to purchase.

I would have liked to see more boy themed kits available.

Here are a few things I did like about the program:

Each digikit has a great selection of frames, embellishments, and more.

You can use their pre-made pages or design your own.

I LOVE that you can upload to the internet to share with friends & family.

Once you figure out the program, its easy to use.

Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 is available now and is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, and XP.

I am a proud Stasher!

I was gifted this lovely pie cupboard recently.

I instantly thought “Woo Hoo! That is where my craft stash is going!”

When I saw that Dollar Store Crafts was hosting their APRIL STASH BUST….

I signed up!

Lets face it….I think I have enough stuff in here to craft my pants off.

The way I look at it is that:

1. I will make my husband happy by not spending any $$ on crafting in April.

2. If you make something cool, you might win an AWESOME prize.

So bop on over to Dollar Store Crafts & sign up.

Grab one of their cute buttons for your blog.

And get busy crafting!

I’m Kashoan, or as Christy likes to call me, the intern KraftyKash. As a kid I always enjoyed crafting. I made this button jar when I was in the 4th grade. I used a standard glass jar, cut up pieces of fabric and glued them on to the jar.

What a great idea, huh? My Mom still has this jar. Maybe someday I will be famous and it will be displayed in a crafty museum….ok probably not. But a girl can always dream.

Now that Im a Mom, I’m always trying to get my kids to do projects with me. I think kids have to be in the mood to create. Usually I’m in the middle of a project and Korby, my 10 yr old daughter, will jump in and start helping.

I met Christy via Freecycle, she was giving away fabric, I was thrilled to take it off her hands! I soon realized she was a crafty genius and decided to start inviting myself over more often. Since then she has motivated me to start an Etsy shop and I feel like I’ve gained a good friend. You can never have enough good “crafty” friends!

So that’s a little about me, the Intern KraftyKash. In case your wondering, my intern duties consist of: crafting, organizing, offering advice & wisdom, listing, learning, laughing, and sometimes tweeting (when Christy isn’t looking).

When I’m not being a intern, you can find me at: www.kraftykash.blogspot.com
